Developing products for a broader range of hair and skin types addressed to non-Caucasian customers helps companies focusing on more personalized textures and formulas, covering the specific need of all customers.
BE ORGANIC, in addition to the 21 N pavilion, dedicated to green nature sector, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna presented a new special area dedicated to this important trend: Be Organic! It's a new special label will identify ORGANIC beauty products displayed all throughout the COSMOPRIME hall. “Green” beauty is a market which is growing constantly, since consumers pay more and more attention to health and sustainability. Organic products are made of ingredients coming from bio-agriculture and beekeeping, without pesticides and insecticides.
GLAMOUR ME! is a mini beauty lounge featuring several beauty stations that showcased several exhibitors who were previewing their products in this area throughout the 4-days of the show through express and free services offered to attendees of Cosmoprime.
The Perfume Factory. The area – “powered by Cosmopack” – hosted the industrial steps of the production of a perfume, a virtual journey that took the visitor to discover the entire supply chain of a fragrance: from olfactory to maceration, from filtration to filling, packaging and cellophane wrapping. A fragrance have been produced in “limited edition” to celebrate the 50th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, thanks to the collaboration of the leading companies of this sector exhibiting in Cosmopack.
Cosmo Talks, the not-to-be-missed workshops and round tables with a focus on present and future processes characterizing the beauty world. It offered to professionals of the sector a profitable opportunity for highly qualified updates on the retail distribution and the market in general.
CosmoprofTrends wants to be the reference point for the community of Cosmoprof beauty. Beautystreams, the internationally acclaimed trends agency, selected the top 50 trendy products and it created an online guide that allow buyers, journalists and experts to understand the market trends.
During Cosmoprof 2017, in the area specifically dedicated to the Perfume Factory. Iconodrome presented a virtual reality “experience”. Visitors saw all the elements which make up the perfume and in the end, they have been enveloped in the fragrance of the perfume itself. A unique experience, created to demonstrate how Virtual Reality can open new roads in the life of a company’s communication.

Top Buyers are selected as part of the International Buyer Program, the consolidated initiative by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna involving exhibitors from both Cosmoprof and Cosmopack in specific meetings with highly specialized professional distributors and brands of the key markets for the cosmetic industry.
