Beauty products are facing the big change of the retail industry. Retailers are investing in new store formats , innovations and technologies to enhance the in-store experience. E-platforms are becoming channels of mass distributions. Customer experience will be dramatically change and beauty products will have to be redesigned to be part of this new experience. The seminar will focus on the future of the retail and distribution industries.

Jeb Gleason-Allured is the Editor in Chief of Global Cosmetic Industry Magazine and Perfumer & Flavorist Magazine. Representing the fourth generation of the Allured family to work with the industry, he is an honorary member of the American Society of Perfumers, a member of Cosmetic Executive Women, and serves as the program director of the World Perfumery Congress and Flavorcon.








> Hayk Sargsyan - C.E.O., Supercosmetics LTD and Buyer, Au Pont Rouge, Au Pont Rouge

Philip Kotler Marketing Award 2014 winner Hayk Sargsyan is Founder & Owner of  COSMOTHECA beauty concept stores since 2009 and C.E.O. of  Supercosmetics LTD  distribution  of ethical cosmetics and artistic fragrance in Moscow, Russian Federation. He is founder of Cosmotheca  Au Pont Rouge Project.  Completed in 1907, Au Pont Rouge located along the Red Bridge on River Moika was built in the tradition of great European department stores such as Galleries Lafayette in Paris or Selfridges in London. Following the revolution in 1919, the building was renamed and converted into Volodarsky Sewing Factory and in 1930s, the original cupola was demolished. In 2011, the cupola was reconstructed and the building underwent functional and architectural transformations to restore Au Pont Rouge to its original state as a world class department store in Saint Petersburg. In Au Pont Rouge, Hayk invented a precedence of a robotic system to choreograph new experiences that encompasses historical, architectural, technological and cultural values for visitors to enjoy spending time, interacting and exploring in the store. Cheungvogl architecture and design studio brilliantly implemented it in Japanese neo- minimalistic style. The physical shopping experience is tailored for visitors’ entrainment with hands-free comfort and efficiency that the automated system offers.





> Ewa Grigar - Project Lead Consumer Products, Kline

Based in Prague office, Ewa Grigar is a Project Lead in Kline’s Consumer Products practice. Ewa has been responsible for numerous syndicated market research reports and consultation projects across the beauty industry. Her specialty is professional skin care, salon hair care, and at-home skin care devices markets in Western and Eastern Europe, and the US. Prior to joining Kline, Ewa worked as a researcher at In-Sync Consumer Insight Corporation, where she conducted research in various consumer areas. Ewa holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the New School for Social Research in New York.






> Paolo Penati, CEO, QVC Italy

Paolo Penati, 56 years old (December 1959) is the CEO  of QVC Italia. 

He earned his bachelor degree in Economics and Banking from the University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, and he has two children and a great passion for scuba diving and motorcycle.

In 2010 he joined QVC Italia start up, supporting the launch of its broadcasting as Chief Financial Officer. Later he took on the responsibility of the Distribution and Customer Service and, more recently, of the Merchandising, Planning and Programming team. He developed the Strategic Planning and Analysis team as part of the Finance Department and led the development of logistics and distribution center in Castel San Giovanni, opened in 2013.

Prior to joining QVC, was CEO of the cosmetics chain La Gardenia. Previously, he worked for 11 years in Italy Blockbuster as Director of Administration and Finance, Director of Franchising, and the last period as Director General and CEO.
