Anna Rita DI GIACOMO, SPA Director Mandarin Oriental Hotel Milan

Anna Rita Di Giacomo began her professional career in tourism, coordinating prestigious events for national and international clients, before taking charge of communication strategies and promotion for leading Italian businesses.

The wellness world became her passion and lifestyle choice after she discovered the sector by chance though consultancy work for a major wellness centre start-up project. She went on to coordinate some of the centres herself. After that she began a long partnership with Terme di Saturnia, where she learnt new management techniques and focused her professional expertise on the wellness world, gaining a wide range of valuable experience. She worked as a spa consultant, customer support supervisor and spa operations supervisor before becoming spa manager. She was recruited by Mandarin Oriental for their new hotel in Milan and is currently spa director there, overseeing all the operational, managerial and customer care aspects of the business.
