The first edition of Cosmopack International Business Forum & Exhibition at the Hilton Midtown Hotel in New York has come to the end. The B2B event has been organized by COSMOPROF/COSMOPACK, the leading international exhibition for the beauty supply chain of BolognaFiere Spa. New York has been selected as the international ‘meeting point’ for the beauty business community.

The event, organized in collaboration with Cosmetica Italia, Polo Tecnologico della Cosmesi and with the participation of  ICMAD (Independent Cosmetics Manufacturers and Distributors) and ITA (Italian Trade Agency), showcased the excellence of the Made in Italy and put under the spotlights the know-how and the innovation of leading international companies in the beauty sector.

More than 676 B2B meetings involved 83 buyers and distributors, coming from USA, Canada, Europe, China, Korea and United Arab Emirates, and 44 vendors representing the whole beauty supply chain: from raw materials to machinery and technologies, from contract manufacturing to primary and secondary packaging. More than 30 international magazines attended the event.

The success of Cosmopack International Business Forum & Exhibition comes from its new format, which is based on B2B meetings and which offered to all participants concrete business opportunities and the possibility to enhance their professional network.

Key professionals in the beauty sector took part to workshops, conferences and round-tables focused on regulations, trends and communication strategies specific for the US market.
