COSMOPACK 2018 PRESENTS IN BOLOGNA NEWS AND TRENDS FOR THE COSMETIC INDUSTRY

Cosmopack, the event in conjunction with Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna that involves the entire beauty supply chain, is scheduled in Bologna from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th March 2018, gathering under one roof the international leaders of the cosmetic industry, with reference to all its components: raw materials, machineries and  automation solutions for the supply chain, contract manufacturing and full service, applicators, primary and secondary packaging.

For 2018 the event marks a significant growth, with a + 6%, 464 exhibitors already confirmed and a waiting list constantly growing. 55% of the exhibiting companies come from abroad, and 28 countries are represented; the presence of country pavilions from France, Korea, Poland and Greece has been confirmed, together with highly qualified companies from China and Taiwan. The recent scouting initiatives led in key international markets, supported by ITA – Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Ministry of Economic Development with a roadshow program promoting Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, reinforced the brand identity of Cosmopack and its role as a benchmark for the international beauty supply chain. More than 23,000 visitors are expected in Bologna in March, with a remarkable increase of foreign attendance. New emerging markets will be involved thanks to the International Buyer Program, the initiative by Cosmoprof facilitating networking among companies, distributors and buyers looking for new business projects.

The machinery segment is growing, with an increasing presence of international market leaders. New exhibitors from abroad are also confirmed in the field of contract manufacturing and private label. There is an interesting growth of companies specialized in secondary packaging, particularly paper converting.
