Dr. Raffaella Gregoris is a woman, a mother and an entrepreneur. And in every aspect of her life an absolute innovator. Her innate passion for research led her to study pharmacy in college and later to specialize with a master's degree in cosmetic chemistry. With this wealth of knowledge, she began working with various laboratories and formulating traditional cosmetics. She accumulated valuable experience for more than a decade, but never stopped wondering if there was not an alternative, better way to formulate cosmetics composed solely of active and clean ingredients. A safe and effective way to fight the mechanisms of aging without having to compromise. He found a new way, Bakel was thus born in 2008. With two patents to its name, it is the recipient of prestigious awards: the WWD Beauty Biz Award in 2009, the Pure Beauty Award in 2012 and the Marie Claire Prix d'Excellence de la Beauté in 2016, all supported by growing commercial success.

In 2020 Raffaella Gregoris - founder of the Bakel brand - was included among the 100 successful Italian women, according to Forbes Italy magazine. A list of women who have distinguished themselves in their professions, for talent and achievements in which are found entrepreneurs, writers and scientists.

2023 is the year that awards BAKEL for the second time with the Prix d'Excellence de la Beauté, by Marie Claire Italia, in the technology innovation segment with JALU 3 D, the innovative cosmetic made with a special technology.
