Jeanne began her career in Beauty at a Chanel makeup counter and on commercial sets. Continued work in media (behind and in front of the camera) brought her to Los Angeles in 2001. While working on sets, she became interested in the business of building Beauty brands and started in an entry level position at Kerastase Hair (division of L’Oreal Luxe). She merchandised and trained stylists on Kerastase products and loved working with these innovative salons. She then moved to smashbox Cosmetics, working specifically in Sales & Education. Smashbox was the “OG” Indie brand with Cosmetics born out of product tested by artists, on sets. After smashbox, she married her on-camera experience with her brand training experience and led the Broadcast Production department at Stila Cosmetics. While there she produced Stila’s first DTC campaign and produced and hosted shows on the Home Shopping Network and The Shopping Channel. A move back to Texas to be closer to family, landed her in her first Buying role at Natural Food Grocer, Whole Foods Market. She began as the Global Lifestyle Buyer and then moved into the Beauty Category Manager position. She is now the Cosmetics Development Manager at a larger, regional grocer, H-E-B. In the last five years she has developed a new visual merchandising environment thru a Universal system, designed to feature brand identity and a customer led shop.
