A native of Grasse, a historic French town known throughout the world as the cradle of high perfumery, he discovered his vocation as a perfumer during his childhood, spent among the fields of rose and jasmine.
Thus he began working at a very young age in the small perfumery ateliers of Grasse, where his incredible talent emerged, which led him to join the Maison Chanel in 1978.
Here he achieved one success after another until 2006, the year in which he joined Parfums Christian Dior as Grand Master Perfumer. Inspired by the style, opulence, colors and great charm of the Maison's fashion, he creates and interprets a series of fragrances that have entered the history of perfumery: Dior Homme, Farenight, Eau Sauvage and finally the greatest global success that perfumery alcoholic memories: Sauvage.
All extraordinarily citrusy fragrances, in which the mysterious citrus fruit that has always fascinated him is never missing: the bergamot from Reggio Calabria.
