Marta Evangelisti

President of the FDI Group in the Emilia Romagna Region and Regional Councillor

Marta Evangelisti, born in Porretta Terme (Bo) on 04/30/1972, lawyer, married and mother of one child. I began my political activity in 1994 by running for office in the Municipality of Granaglione (Bo), with a Civic List in which I was elected as a Majority Councilor. In that mandate, I dealt with relations with Volunteer Associations and Relations with Local Authorities, remaining in office until 1999. I continued for three additional mandates, subsequently holding the positions of Councilor for School and Culture, Productive Activities and in the last two mandates, also that of Deputy Mayor.

I then held the role of Group Leader and Minority Councilor at the Municipality of Alto Reno Terme. In 2015, I was elected as a surrogate Councilor at the Metropolitan City of Bologna in the “Uniti per l’Alternativa” List.

In 2016, I was reconfirmed and held the role of President of the First Commission. Subsequently, I was a candidate on the Fratelli d'Italia list for the Emilia Romagna Regional Administrative Elections in 2020, where I was the most voted woman in the entire Center-right with 5,237 personal preference votes.

In 2021, I was a candidate on the Fratelli d'Italia list for the administrative elections of the Municipality of Bologna, being elected with 1,229 preferences, and I assumed the role of Vice President of the City Council. In October 2022, I took over from Marco Lisei within the Emilia-Romagna Regional Legislative Assembly, holding the role of President of the Fratelli d'Italia Assembly group.

In the regional elections of 17 and 18 November 2024, I was nominated as the head of the list in the Bologna constituency list of Fratelli d'Italia, resulting in the most voted of the entire centre-right and the third at the regional level with 15,928 preferences.
