Ambra Martone graduated with honors in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan before embarking on a career in the fragrance industry. She gained olfactive training and assisted renowned perfumers in creating fragrances for major American brands during her time at Firmenich New York. Furthering her expertise, she managed fragrance marketing at Procter & Gamble Geneva headquarters for five years. In 2014, Ambra joined her father Roberto at ICR-Industrie Cosmetiche Riunite, where they manage a diverse portfolio of luxury brands, positioning ICR as Italy's leading company for third-party production in selective perfumery.
Together with her sister Giorgia, Ambra relaunches the family cosmetics brand Marvin, founded in 1945, founding LabSolue, an artisanal perfumery brand, with the aim of celebrating Italian heritage through exclusive creations. Ambra Martone also oversees communication and marketing for Magna Pars, the world's first Hotel à Parfum™, showcasing the family's dedication to luxury and innovation.
Since 2015 he has been a member of the board of directors of Cosmetica Italia, the National Association of Cosmetic Companies, with responsibility for developing the relationship with the world of consumers and increasing the reputation of the Italian cosmetics industry and its products among consumers and their associations, and in 2023 he became Vice President.
Since July 2019 he has been President of Accademia del Profumo, the Cosmetica Italia initiative that brings together and represents the perfume supply chain with the mission of enhancing perfume as an essential element of well-being, promoting creativity, increasing its culture and diffusion in Italy.
