One week after voluntarily closing its premises, L’Erbolario has reopened one department made of 23 voluntary employees working for two days only with the highest security level in order to produce a hand-sanitizer to be donated to all the hospitals and other facilites needing it. Part of the 38,000 bottles of hand-sanitizers produced so far have been already donated to the Maggiore hospital and the Red Cross in Lodi as well as to Milan hospitals Sacco and Niguarda. Further requests will be satisfied shortly.
Lumson is committed to contributing actively to the collective effort, responding to coronavirus emergency with a concrete and immediate gesture.
Thanks to its production capability, on Wednesday 25th March the Group has converted its Capergnanica and Santa Maria di Sala sites to the production of handrub sanitizer packagings; part of them will be used for hand-sanitizers that will be donated to hospitals.
